Has this gallery been tested with WordPress 5.x and it’s new blocks editor that replaced the classic one? Because it’s now the standard editor and the gallery definitely has issues. The blocks equivalent of ‘add gallery’ adds only the wp-default gallery and when clicking on ‘edit gallery’ – there is no dropdown to select a template. And yes I have created one (imported the mansory one with zoom effect). This dropdown just doesen’t exist at all! Also tried the editor icon to insert the wp-gallery-extra – it pops up but after hitting ‘insert’ there is nothing to be seen in the editor and in the preview.
The only way to add a gallery is by typing in the shortcode ‘[gallery]‘ and then click outside of the edit box – only then the gallery appears.

I’m using WP 5.1.1. Latest WP-Gallery-Extra and iLightbox version. The issue is independent from theme. I’ve tested with WP-Standardtheme (Twenty Seventeen) and Divi – both have that issue. Also tested on two installations: offline on localhost and online.
